Status & Route Planning
Plan the route. Secure the status. Fly itineraries you actually enjoy.
Status runs, mileage runs and points-led itineraries are among the most intricate fares in the business. We build and ticket a route that earns the Tier Points or miles you need, on flights you will be glad to be on.

Three things to know
How planning with Propeller actually works.
Most clients ask the same three questions before they start. The answers are simple.
Tailored to your target.
Your tier-year end, home airport, budget, preferred alliances, and cabin standards. We start with your exact goals and design a routing that makes sense.
Rule-aware construction.
Partner earning tables, connection rules, and routing restrictions change constantly. We check the live rules for the ticketing carriers, fare classes, and dates, every time.
Booking and support, handled.
We model your options, recommend the best path, and handle all ticketing. Ongoing schedule changes, reissues, and disruption support are fully managed by our team.
What we do
We turn complex rules into flights you can actually book.
The value of professional planning isn’t just finding the most points per pound. It’s balancing cash cost, connection logic, airport changes, and disruption risks. We design routes that respect your time and comfort, explaining every trade-off clearly before you book.
Good fit for this service
- British Airways Club tier point planning
- oneworld and alliance-led routings
- Round-the-world and multi-continent ideas

Common briefs
The useful starting point is usually specific.
BA Tier Point Targets
Tell us your current status, tier year date, home airport, budget range and how flexible the dates are. We will come back with options.
Alliance & RTW Routings
We turn the idea into a route shape, check it against current rules, and show you what each option costs and earns.
Ex-Europe & Positioning Savings
We compare the saving against hotels, time, extra flights, disruption risk and the practical reality of starting elsewhere. If it is not worth it, we say so.
Earning Validation
Partner earning rules move. We check the current booking context and tell you what the route will actually credit before you book.
Humane Status Runs
One of our most common briefs. We design status runs that earn what you need and leave you with a trip you would have wanted to take anyway.
Ticketing vs Planning
If the route is built and the question is ticketability, Complex Air handles it directly. We will point you there if that is the right route.
Rule-aware planning
Frequent flyer mechanics move. We work with the live rules, every time.
British Airways now describes Tier Points through The British Airways Club, including eligible spend mechanics for BA flights and additional rules for partners and offers. Other programmes use their own earning logic. We check the live rules for the programme, ticketing carrier, marketing carrier, fare type and travel date before advising. Old advice from message boards is often out of date.
Status credit
We check what is likely to credit, where it credits, and which assumptions are risky.
Fare structure
We look at fare basis, cabin, connection logic, stopovers, married segments and ticketing rules.
Trip practicality
We keep an eye on time, positioning risk, airport changes, disruption exposure and comfort.

Common questions
Worth knowing before we start.
How the planning service works.
There is no upfront deposit required. We review your outline first, and if paid planning or ticketing work is needed, we will confirm the service fee before proceeding.
One brief, one planning case.
Each brief outline submitted creates one planning case. We will keep iterating with you for up to thirty days from the first proposal until the route is right.
How this differs from a normal hotel or air quote.
A normal Propeller booking takes a route you have already chosen and handles the ticketing, fare rules and support. Trip planning starts earlier than that. You tell us the goal, we work out the route, then we book it. Use this when you know the target but not the route.
What if my brief is for Complex Air rather than planning?
If you have a fare or a built route and the question is whether it can be ticketed, you do not need a planning case. Complex Air handles that directly. We will tell you if a case ought to go there.
Ready to start
Send your planning brief.
Useful details for the brief include your programme, current status, target status, tier-year dates, cabin preferences, airports you can start from, trip length, budget range and any routes you have already found. There is no upfront deposit required; if paid planning or ticketing work is needed, we will confirm the service fee before proceeding.
Alternative option
For a fare or route you have already found that needs ticketing validation, use Complex Air instead.
